Licensed Practical Nurse
This LPN is needed to provide hands on nursing services to the individuals at Valatie North IRA who have varying medical needs. Nursing oversite will be provided by the Nurse 2, with administrative oversite provided by the Nurse Administrator 1.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
o Ensure that all medications and treatments required on that shift are performed and implemented as written, and the data is recorded. o Provides documentation as needed o Reviews the Ready to Go, monthly MAR, Consents, Current Scripts for the Nurse 2/Nurse Administrator 1 o Maintains tickler for OTC expiration dates and OTC orders for the individuals o Purchasing and organizing med room supplies o Provided first aide to individuals and monitor vital signs as needed and reporting to the Nurse 2 their findings o Acts a liaison between the Direct Care staff and the Registered Nurse. o May be asked to provide coverage at Valatie South IRA o Monitors/supervises insulin administration, along with PO daily medications/treatments o Other duties as assigned

Salary Range:
From $39450 to $48284 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Posted Hiring Salary includes annual inconvenience pay of $575.00 Permanent
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain a license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State. Transfer
Qualifications:
Candidates must currently be a permanent Licensed Practical Nurse.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
